The Kirkland Wednesday Market is located in Marina Park on the waters edge of Lake Washington, an features between 40 and 60 vendors and farmers each week. Fruits, veggies, cheese, meats, jams, breads and pastries all grown and/or made in Washington, with prices very competetive to your local grocery stores.

Merchant Flower Pot Competetion
Spring 2009
We had 13 merchants participate and the pots/baskets were amazing. 1st Place went to the Heathman for using herbs and a trellis to represent Trellis, the bamboo to represent the spa and the trucnk to represent the hotel. Well done. 2nd Place went to Mermaid Hair Extensions for having mermaids floating in their flower pots and coordinating with their window. 3rd Place went to George's Place. Thank you for participating. The Heathman recieved a $100 cash in wich htye donated back to the KDA.
KDA Membership Drive
June 2009
June is our KDA membership drive. If you renew your membership by June 10th you will be entered in our first draw to win a one hour massage donated by Soul Ease. If you renew your memebership by June 20th you will be entered in our second draw to win breakfast for four at George's Place and if you renew your membership by June 30th you will be entered in our third draw to win dinner for two at Trellis. Please note if you renew your memebership before June 10th you will be entered in all three raffles.

2nd Thursdays on Park Lane
June-August 2009 | 7PM - 9PM
Every 2nd Thursday Park Lane will be shut down to vehicle traffic for live street jazz performances by local jazz musicians along with extended outdoor seating from restaurants located on Park Lane. Other businesses located on Park Lane will be extending their business hours 'til 9 for this once a month event.
Kirkland Classic Car Show

Annual Kirkland Classic Car show hits downtown Kirkland again with over 200 custom and classic cars, street vendors, and live music.
Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
Saturday, November 28th, 2009 | 7PM
This is the official kick-off of the Holiday season in the downtown core! Each year, thousands of people come own to hear festive music, enjoy the decorations and witness our beautiful 30 foot tree being lit up for the first time. Bring your family and friends down to enjoy tasty treats and cider, see a real live reindeer and hear the acapella men's choir Northwest Sound starting at 5PM. Get your photo taken with Santa at Kahili Coffee, and then follow him to the tree lighting at 7PM on Kirkland Avenue next to the Kirkland Marina.
